New Vision, New Birth International Ministries, Inc.
New Vision, New Birth International Ministries was birthed out of a burden that was
released to the heart of a humble man. God gave the vessel we now know as Bishop
Stanford Young, Jr. a vision of people full of God-given gifts, vision, talent and anointing sitting in the pews asphyxiated
by the plight of traditional ministry and in need of a new experience and restoration, and of people that were lost and in
search of God’s purpose for their life. Hence this vision sent Bishop Young
on a search for clarity and direction in regards to what God was saying. God
revealed that he was calling Bishop to birth and mature His people (the remnant) and bring them into their full potential
and in doing so that Bishop would walk into his own destined place in God. This
revelation brought Bishop Young to much prayer. As a result of great prayer
and conscious effort on behalf of the Kingdom, New Vision, New Birth International Ministries, Inc. was birthed in 2001, standing on the word of which it was founded (Corinthians5:17-“Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold
all things become new.” Romans 6:4-Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk
in the newness of life.”). The church conducted its first worship service on November 4, 2001 at 11:00 a.m., and has
continued to grow in the grace of God. New Vision, New Birth functions as an
organism, not an organization. Therefore, it is full of life.
The church was originally located in West Tampa at 2209 N. Albany Avenue. After
worshiping at this location for just 2 months, New Vision, New Birth was forced to move, after the church building was sold
to another ministry. N.V.N.B. experienced its first labor pain of the birthing. Nevertheless, the ministry withstood the test and began worshipping on Sundays at
a facility owned by Mountain Top Int’l, having 3:00 p.m. service for several months and having Bible Study in Bishop
Young’s home. After several months of sharing a building and setting up
and taking down equipment for each service, God opened doors for N.V.N.B. at the current location: 9415 N. Nebraska Avenue. It took a New Vision
and a New Birth, but God did it. The ministry renovated a pawn shop that was
previously used as a drug rehab shelter into a beautiful sanctuary unto the Lord. New
Vision, New Birth has many faithful workers and is a family. The ministry would
not be what it is without those workers and the leadership that stands with Bishop Young in the persons of: Pastor Agnes Young and Pastor Donna Jackson.
New Vision, New Birth will remain an Apostolic-Prophetic Ministry, teaching the full gospel of Jesus Christ and the
uncompromised counsel of God, and embracing all cultures and nationalities. N.V.N.B.
remains committed to a vision of reaching the lost by using all mediums available to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, making
disciples of Christ, and being an organism that ministers to the needs of the local body through the ministry of the apostle,
prophet, pastor, teacher, and evangelist as well as meeting the spiritual and natural needs of its communities. On an international level, N.V.N.B. will remain committed to presenting the gospel to all nations through
mission assignments and planting apostolic-prophetic ministries throughout the world.
N.V.N.B. is empowered for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, and the edifying of the body of Christ,
to license, ordain, and send forth chosen vessels into the earth for the purpose of Kingdom building. N.V.N.B. is empowered to fulfill its destiny.
